Iranian film ‘A Moment’ to compete at Italian filmfest

‘A Moment’ is to be screened at the Skepto International Film Festival 2017 in Italy.

Iranian short film ‘A Moment’ directed by Naqi Nemati has been scheduled to vie at the 8th edition of the Skepto International Film Festival in Italy.

A production of Iranian Youth Cinema Society's Ardebil branch, the short film is to vie at the competition section of the Italian festival.

The film is about unexpected occurrences minutes before the death of some people.

“Skepto is a non-profit cultural association, born from the joint effort of several cinema, photography and visual art lovers,” the festival’s official website wrote.

Skepto International Film Festival focuses on short films and has a competitive nature.

Its main aim is to encourage and give exposure to independent filmmakers from all over the world by creating an open space for dialogue and intercultural exchange.

The festival is slated for May 10-13, 2017 in the Italian city of Cagliari.
